Even though we've all had somewhat different experiences when you get right down to specifics, I bet just about all Kerrycrats can relate to the points both writers make -- that JK is a surprisingly down-to-earth guy (who definitely does seem to be a little shy -- odd that no one in the press seems to grasp that), and that becoming a Kerry supporter can change your life in ways far more than what we all expected (I think most of us thought we were signing on for just "a three-hour tour" -- knock on doors for a few weeks, etc.), and that that's a lovely surprise.
